JCB’s 19C-1E electric mini excavator and sub-compact 504-13 Loadall telescopic hander have been named among Construction Equipment magazine’s Top 100 New Products of 2019.

Launched in September 2019, the 2-ton (1.9-tonne) JCB 19C-1E is the first non-tethered, all-electric mini excavator available in North America and the first in JCB’s emerging range of E-TEC electric construction machines. The 19C-1E offers the same power as JCB’s diesel-powered 19C excavator yet produces zero exhaust emissions and one-fifth of the noise, making it well suited to construction and excavation applications within enclosed or urban job sites, or noise- and emissions-sensitive environments such as hospitals and schools. Powered by three lithium-ion batteries creating 313 Ah (15 kWh) of capacity, the 19C-1E can complete a typical day’s work on a single charge. An optional four-battery pack increases capacity to 417 Ah (20 kWh) and delivers an additional 2 hours of continuous use. For more info, visit

JCB’s new 504-13 Loadall subcompact telescopic handler offers 4,000 lb lift capacity and a maximum lift height of 13 feet 3 inches, making it an ideal handling palletized and loose materials for maintenance projects, job site clean-up, and applications within confined worksites. It features a new 39 hp Perkins Tier 4 Final-compliant diesel engine, 500-hour extended service intervals and simplified maintenance procedures, hydrostatic transmission, permanent 4-wheel steering and all-steel bodywork.
