Construction employers are set to save as much as $9 billion, thanks to recent changes California officials made to their off-road diesel emissions rule. AGC discovered and pointed out several errors in the measure and “California officials made a good faith effort to modify their proposal to protect both the environment and the construction industry,” said Mike Kennedy, AGC’s general counsel.
BOMAG recently launched its new BW100AD-5 tandem vibratory roller. The BW100AD-5 features all-around visibility, a specially developed operator’s platform, improved maneuverability, and a fuel saving 20.2-horsepower water-cooled diesel engine that idles while the roller is inactive.
