Runnion Equipment Names Michael Prochot as President

Runnion Equipment has named Michael F. Prochot as its new president, as the Lyons, Illinois based dealer begins its thirty-eighth year of operation. Prochot, most recently vice president and general manager, will succeed Patrick Runnion, who is now the chief executive officer of the company.

“As a long time employee at Runnion Equipment, Michael understands our business and knows our customers,” says Runnion. “We have grown significantly in the past few years, and I am confident we will continue to flourish under Michael’s leadership.”
Runnion Equipment concluded 2012 with outstanding growth in every area. In order to maintain this trend, the company is realigning top management to improve focus and specialize roles.

As vice president of Runnion Equipment for 13 years, Michael has been responsible for managing the company’s operations, finances, marketing, IT, and programs for insurance, safety, and training. Prior to joining Runnion Equipment, he served as vice
president and chief financial officer with Bulley & Andrews Inc. for eight years. A Chicago native, Michael has more than 35 years of experience in the crane and construction industry.
