The JCB 407 wheel loader and JCB 8018 compact excavator have received EquipmentWatch 2017-2018 Lowest Cost of Ownership Awards. The awards recognize the JCB 407 and the JCB 8018 as the most cost-efficient machines, within their respective construction equipment product categories, to own and operate over a five-year period.

The JCB 407 received the Lowest Cost of Ownership Award in the small wheel loader category. With bucket breakout force of 3,642 lbf, maximum dump height of 9 feet 4 inches and maximum dig depth of 10 feet 1 inch, the JCB 8018 compact excavator delivers class-leading performance. Operating costs are reduced by way of the JCB 8018’s robust build quality and simplified maintenance procedures, and its ability to deliver maximum torque at low engine speeds for reduced fuel consumption.
