IROCK's New TC-20 Track Impact Crusher
The new TC-20 Track Impact Crusher from IROCK Crushers was introduced at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 in Las Vegas March 4-8. The TC-20 Track Impact Crusher combines a larger feeder, a high-performance four-bar impactor and heavy-duty components for exceptional efficiency, reliability and precision.
The track crusher produces a uniform, cubical product, and IROCK’s hydraulically adjustable aprons provide better control over sizing. The unit has the adaptability to process soft to medium rock, recycled concrete and recycled asphalt. The rotor measures 40” by 56” and can process a variety of materials up to 24” in diameter. The crusher is powered by a Caterpillar® C-13 ACERT Tier 3 engine of 440 HP.
The TC-20 features a fixed, Hardox® hopper. The hopper has 15 Cu. Yd. capacity. It is paired with a 52”by 16’ vibrating grizzly feeder, which has ¾ inch liners on the pan and side walls. With a feeder up to 3’ longer than comparable crushers, the TC-20 can be fed material with a large wheel loader.
The TC-20 features a standard crusher bypass chute to reduce needless wear on the crusher. With this chute, fines that fall through the grizzly feeder can either bypass the crusher and mix back in with the crushed material or be removed via the dirt conveyor with a simple adjustment to the flop gate.
The TC-20 incorporates IROCK’s exclusive ROCK BOX. The ROCK BOX is an innovative alternative to discharge chutes found on similar units. It uses a shelf system with abrasion resistant wear bars that allow crushed material to build up and act as a wear liner, which cuts down on costly labor and wear on parts.
The 48” wide discharge conveyor can stockpile from as high as 10’ 11”. Operators can hydraulically lower or raise the conveyor to adjust drop heights and make upkeep easier.
The TC-20 has 20” track pads for easy maneuverability around a job site or onto a trailer for transportation to other locations which makes it a highly portable crusher. The crusher comes standard with a wireless remote control for full plant operation, with two tracking speeds as standard.
The TC-20 features a standard dust-suppression system. This reduces cleaning and helps with dust control. Catwalks provide convenient access to crucial maintenance and cleaning points.
