Holt CAT, the Caterpillar dealer of south, central, north and east Texas announced several changes in its leadership.Dave Harris has been appointed executive vice president and general manager of the dealership. In addition to his responsibilities for Holt’s machine Division, Holt agribusiness, Holt Crane and SITECH, Harris will now be responsible for HOLT power systems and the company’s marketing department. Harris is a 40-year veteran of the heavy equipment business and has managed Holt’s machine division since 1998.Guy Clumpner is now senior vice president of organizational development services. A 30-year veteran of HOLT, Clumpner has been responsible for human resource functions, leadership development, technical training and safety and environmental services. He also is now responsible for information technology, general services and public affairs.Paul Hensley has been appointed senior vice president of finance and CFO. Hensley will continue to have responsibility for the financial operations, business systems, financial marketing and financial services departments. Hensley has been with Holt since 2000.
Jim Hughes has been promoted to senior vice president of the power systems division. Hughes is a 34-year veteran of the engine business and has been with the dealership since 1981. He will continue to be responsible for engine, generator set and truck sales, service and parts for the dealership. He will report to Executive VP and General Manager Dave Harris.
Harris, Clumpner and Hensley will all report to Allyn L. Archer, president and chief operating officer.

SITECH Tejas, another division of HOLT, is the authorized dealer for Trimble heavy and highway construction products and services, as well as AccuGrade grade-control products in the same 118 county territory of Texas.
The Holt name has been associated with heavy equipment and Caterpillar for more than 100 years. Peter M. Holt, chief executive officer of Holt CAT, is the great-grandson of Benjamin Holt, who in 1904 developed the first successful track-type tractor which he named the “Caterpillar. ”
